About Us

Good Brothers Timber Merchants are situated in the heart of the Herefordshire countryside.

Established in 1946 the company now specialise in oak, for both construction and joinery.

We keep a large selection of green oak beams in over 30 different section sizes on the shelf ready to take away. They are available in lengths from 2 metres up to 6 metres, and are very competitively priced.

We are able to produce green oak cladding in either square, waney edged or feather edged oak boards.

We keep large stocks of solid oak flooring and can also supply engineered oak flooring. These are available in a variety of grades. Our oak Skirting’s and Architraves are available with 4 profiles to complement our other oak products.

Our riverside showroom also showcases our oak joinery products. Internal oak doors handmade to your individual requirements and external solid oak doors in a variety of styles.

Our stove centre has over 30 stoves on display (6 of them live). We have carefully selected the best manufacturers to stock, and we can offer something to suit every home and budget.

Our showrooms are open Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 5.00 pm.
