Good Bros are your local green oak specialists, we have been supplying oak for timber framing, oak building and repairs for many years. It is a naturally durable timber, which requires no further treatment. When fresh sawn it has a pale golden colour, which following exposure to the wind and rain will naturally darken down.

Cladding

We are able to offer green oak cladding in either square edge, feather edge or waney edge boards. A natural product which will eventually darken over time.

We have over thirty different section sizes in stock, lengths range from 2 metres up to 7 metres. We keep 4 different thicknesses of green oak boards from 28mm also in stock, all of which is very competitively priced.

Our oak is usually supplied with a sawn finish, but we can also plane the beams to give a smooth surface. Planing will also return the timber to its original sawn colour.

We offer a full cutting service so we can cut from our section size to accommodate any particular size you may require. Or if your chosen length and section is not in stock, we can order them in for you direct from our supplier.
